Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day! I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to hang a new garland, blow up some balloons, and get some festive crafts and snacks for the kiddos. February is one of my favorite months because it just has a feel-good vibe. I love to create heart-shaped goodies and make Valentine’s with the kiddos.

Jonathan will be having a small class party at school and the littles and I plan on baking some cookies and playing with the few ballons that haven’t popped yet. We are getting another rain/snow storm so we will be staying cozy and reading a few Valentine’s books.

Below are a few pictures I took over the past weekend!

I hope you have a festive and fun Valentine’s Day with your loved ones! Xoxo

Valentine’s Week

Who is ready for Valentine’s Day this week?! I took some Valentine’s pictures of the kids this past weekend (that I will share later this week) when we were snowed in and Jordan was so funny because he kept saying, “this is the best Thanksgiving Ever!” After, I explained to him that Valentine’s Day is what is coming up and Thanksgiving had already passed he said, “mom, I just want to call it Thanksgiving ok.” I didn’t argue. So around here apparently Thanksgiving is this week. Kids really do say the darnedest things!

After dropping Jonathan off at school Jordan and Jasmine helped me make some yummy goodies. We melted white chocolate and dipped the pretzels in it. They ended up picking all the hearts off before the chocolate could even dry though.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and Happy Thanksgiving!!! Xoxo

Weekend Overview

We have been pretty quiet over here lately. We have been battling coughs, runny noses, sore throats, and snow storms! We got hit with a ton of snow this past weekend which was nice since we didn’t have to go anywhere. Jonathan’s soccer game was canceled due to bad weather so we decided to bundle up and go play outside. Jasmine could hardly walk since the snow was so deep and would get stuck and yell, “help!” The boys would come to her rescue and not shortly after they lifted her out she would be yelling, “help” again. It was pretty sweet!

Once we were all exhausted from shoveling and snow blowing the driveway we came in and had a homemade heart-shaped pepperoni pizza. I love to add a festive spin anytime I can!

I hope you have a great week!
