Weekend Overview

Hello friends! I hope you all are enjoying the start of Summer, staying safe, and are in good health. We have had some fluctuating weather recently, but making sure to take advantage of the hot days when we can. We try to be outside as much as possible so any activity that we can do outside while the weather is nice we do! Jasmine loves to paint so she will paint for quite awhile outside. Jordan enjoys drawing pictures with outside chalk on the pavement so it’s a win for all! Jonathan recently had to get a silver crown on his back molar and it really took it out of him for a few days and then we ended up having to go get it redone because his bite was completely off. He was such a trooper and now back to his adventurous self.

Speaking of weather we are currently in fire season in our region and we had quite the scare the other day. There was a fire close to our house. We could see the smoke and at one point it was very frightening watching to see if we were going to start to see flames come over a mountain that is behind our house. We had a few bags packed and ready by the front door just in case. Thank goodness we didn’t end up needing to grab them. Praying fire season is very mild this Summer!

I hope you have a wonderful week! XO

A fun evening tradition has begun, dodgeball! It started very nonchalant and has turned into a family favorite around here. We bought the kiddos giant bouncy balls from our local store and they have provided hours of entertainment. We pretty much make up our own dodgeball rules since we don’t have enough people and well Jasmine is two. However, it can get pretty competitive with the boys. It has been a great way to let the kids get their last energy out before bed. What are your evening traditions?

I hope you have a safe and Happy 4th of July!! XO
